Rashmi Talpade: Wallingford Townscape Community Art Project.

Wallingford Townscape Community Art Project By Wallingford Public Library Sundays at 1:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. through April in the Board Room Judd Carriage house The Library and local artist Rashmi Talpade invite you to participate in the creation of a museum quality, community-centric photo collage depicting the Town of Wallingford. This art project is open to people of all ages and abilities. Here’s how you can be involved: Gather photographs of Wallingford homes, public buildings, neighborhood landscapes and scenic areas Send digital images to wallingfordtownscape@gmail.com or bring photographs to the Library All photos must be received by February 15th. WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE? The final 3’ x 8’ museum-quality collage will be composed of images cut from assorted photo prints to create an artistic townscape. The composed fragments of photographic prints will resemble a single image of an imaginary but familiar landscape of the Town of Wallingford. The collage will be created at the Library over a twelve-week period with public sessions held on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Registration for each session is recommended and is available through our online calendar or by calling (203)265-6754.
